I suspect that 1-2 years ago, the timeframe from VC funding to IPO was often less than a year. That is why we had so many half baked companies coming out. They actually just did a thing on CNBC about this about 45 minutes ago, so the discussion does appear to be timely. It also depends on which round of funding we are talking about, but 1-2 years is a reasonable timeframe. As I said in my response to Poet, other than an indication that there is still speculative money out there, this wouldn't be a short term indicator.
