His license suspension was a mostly satisfactory consequence, but the initial thoughtless remark that 'who cares about a 24 year DWI conviction' was a thoughtless slap at anyone who has lost a loved one to a drunk driver,l whether it happened in 1976, 1986 or yesterday. Period.

I hope no one drinks and drives this holiday season. Have fun, be safe.
