Is there a lack of short sellers today? I wonder if there should be a a lot of new short positions taken on tuesday?

Took some profit and closed 1 UOPIX(long-NDX) position in our WEBSITE mutual fund account. I did not take profits since I feel that the market will reverse with conviction, just like taking some profits. Still long with no hedge to the short side. If the NDX does close near its highs, it would be a WHITE MARUZUBO, which is a sign of continuation. However it is also common that the day after a MAROZUBO is slightly down before the buying resumes. Havent decided yet to take any profits in my personal account, since Im more aggressive with my own account.

Hi Dennis and everyone. I haven't been around today and have much to catch up on. However, I want to wish everyone a very enjoyable holiday season and tell you a little story.<g> Wednesday, at the close, I went into the S&P - scared to death. I usually make my trades online. Yesterday, I tried to close the long position online and found that I couldn't. I called and spoke to a body. He told me that there was computer work, blah, blah - and he would put thru a manual change. Found out today that his change didn't go thru and I was part of this nice rally today.
