StockOperator, maybe some company is waiting for market close before bringing bad tidings. I hope not! I pity the person who has to put out such a news release just before Xmas. I would short such a company. Nobody, I mean nobody except AMZN or some retailer needs to wait till today for a warning.

I am long now due to a good close. No more worries till signs appear.

Stock Operator: Have you heard anything regarding the FED cut rumor? I can't see that the FED would cut so close after their scheduled meeting. Besides the economic reports today were not all that bad. Economy is slowing but not tanking. Without an immediate rate cut what could make us go higher on Tuesday? GH
