Howies religion isn't the point. The reference to the church (or temple if you prefer)was made in a broad maner with no particular implication of affiliation.
One needs be carful about judging a book by its cover (individual or company). In the case of a corporation they have a fundamental role of adding value (I like MO despite that they are a market leader in tobacco, beer and processed food). In fact I'd rather own that (paying 9% dividend on cost basis of 19) rather than some high risk NASDAQ listed company that issues conv. pref, stock options and suffers from the dilutive effects of option related stock selling that could be BKRPT in 2 years. In fact the value added by GUMM mgmt is highly questionable. As someone likes to show they have driven revenue (without profit and like to count gel tech revenue) but where's the beef?
Revenue without profit is bad news (everyone gets paid but the shareholder......if your a shareholder you should ask what's wrong with this picture......of course if one is holding hoping for the greater fool to step to the plate one might not like that issue to be raised too publically as long as one is long). Shareholders that buy into that are fools listening to paid touts and shills (eg analysts)

Hank,

<<<...However, if he ever decides to convert to Christianity, I'd say his investing activities places him right at Heavens door step- or at least eliminates one of the hurdles for entry!>>>

Obviously by your actions it can be safe to say that you aren't a Christian. All your posts here and on Yahoo pretty well tell where you stand.

Merry CHRISTmas to all here!

Paul
