The tech bubble is over. Is there disagreement about that?

No arguments from me about your comment:

Regarding SI: their funding may be shot, but how much can it cost to run it? If INSP goes chapter 11, maybe Sun would host it for free one one of their E10000's left over from the dot-com bust. Of course, we wouldn't let twister post anything negative about SUNW in that case.

Fun while it lasted though.

Don't start dialing the BBSs just yet, Q.

SI has more going for it than banner ad rev. There's a
tremendous want of this type of content. SI has put
together a rather nice BB software (as these things go) and
has a successful community thing happening.

There are more than several 3+ year old companies out there
selling managed community/messaging software which isn't
close to being on par with the user side of SI. I wouldn't
worry about SI too much.

The rest of it (Go2net/Infospace) I don't know much about.
I *do know that this type of software/service is in good
demand. They just haven't figured out how to properly abuse
us yet.

QS, see an interesting chart of SUNW on the Chicken Page site.

First stop $35 the $40 but my crystal ball does not see higher in Q1.
