Bruce- I guess I'm confused, but I thought the purpose of GG investing was...essentially, that it represented a superior form of investing (ie, higher returns, lower risk) by holding, identifying GGs (vs. trading, vs. holding other stocks or other investment vehicles)...

Do you agree that it was not wise to hold GGs the past 3-6 months vs. going to cash (and maybe buying them at lower levels, or when this bear is finally over?). If you think it was wise to hold Csco, Qcom, etc over this period, I'd like to hear why...it's apparent that one's port has suffered greatly as a result...

<<Same criteria and specifics apply as each of these games play out. One cannot confuse the share price of companies with the underlying games.>>

Bruce, but this is NOT a game..it's real MONEY!! On the contrary, the share prices ARE THE ULITIMATE INDICATOR OF WHO'S WINNING OR LOSING. Not volume, or growth "potential" or market share, or Gorilla status..
....the MARKET PRICE is the SCORE CARD, period.

You look at these price charts;

Who's winning hold these the last 3-6months?

Rule 7, p 188
"Once it becomes clear to you that a company will never become a gorilla, sell it's stock"

IMO, TFM has a MAJOR FLAW, the lack of any money management even in it's simplest form. The Rule above I think is a Flaming JOKE,,, TFM only tells you to sell after the companies techno lead has fallen out of the ranks or given way to another player????? WTF!!!!...but guess what, by the time you realize that, the stock has already crumbled badly in most cases. I'm willing to bet that in the next revision they'll put something new in to "try" and fix this flaw.

I like many of TFM's plan/strategy/tactics ..but without CLEAR MONEY MANAGEMENT, it's only a tool...not a BIBLE to invest by, IMO.
