Yes,

This seems to be typical of most estate problems....even though insurance solves the problems it is often thought to be impossible to fund the needed amount.

About 20 years ago A system called L.E.A.P. was introduced to the financial planning arena. THis system was quite difficult to understand by most planners and today I believe only about 1/2 of 1% of the planners licensed in the country can use the system. These is also a large cost in the education and licensing of the system for use.

The benefit of using these people for estate planning is that they find cash flow where none was thought to exist. Through recycling of unnecessary tax losses, Lost opportunity costs and the recovery of compound taxes due to the problem of compound interest usage, nearly every estate can fund for the insurance necessary to cover the tax bill.

Obviously, it would be great to reduce or eliminate the estate tax. My guess would be if this tax was eliminated, some other tax would be imposed. So, you really have to assume the worse case.

I have not done a search for L.E.A.P. on the internet but I know there are offices in every major city in the country. Their results are awesome.

As you might have guessed, I practiced under this system until I retired 5 years ago. There are a few practitioners in Pittsburgh. And one of the men there is one who I would consider to be on of the countries greatest minds in the field of estate planning. Should anybody need a reference to him, I would be happy to make the introduction. I know he has no problem traveling nationwide.
