The CDMA development group had been reporting CDMA subscriber growth at their web site every three months but nothing has been updated since June. Does anyone know why?

Not sure if you saw the following....

cdg.org

Unfortunately, they havent updated their tables....but I think most of the numbers are available in the press release.

Mike,

<< The CDMA development group had been reporting CDMA subscriber growth at their web site every three months but nothing has been updated since June. Does anyone know why? >>

No.

I might add however, that the postings generally have occurred about 4 months after the conclusion of the quarter. UWCC reports likewise. The postings typically follow a press release updating quarter results.

As Slacker pointed out the press release has been published.

CDG seems to be concentrating more on the new look of the web site than its content. Hopefully that will change.

Candidly, I'm more interested in CDG updating the status of the cdma2000 standard than CDMA subscribers (since EMC acting on behalf of GSMA keeps estimates of those pretty current) and have posted on that subject to Perry LaForge on his thread here at SI:

127.0.0.1:3456/SI/stocktalk/readmsg.aspx?msgid=14934518

It was, I suppose, generous of them, to post a copy of the May 30, 2000 "Standards Requirements Document for the Evolution of cdma2000 1x Version 2.0". Formerly this was only available by calling Qualcomm (an 800 number was provided but the link was pretty obscure). A lot has transpired since that document was published, and fortunately Ben Garrett has kept us pretty current.
