Re: IWill DDR motherboards in stock - the RAID model - for $229. It says they have 17 in stock

Great news! The pricing on DDR memory and boards has been interesting. Are there 100 people who won't wait and will pay extra for a DDR system or 100,000? We'll have to see how long the "first one on the block" effect keeps prices this high. Given that a good part of DDR's appeal is that its cost (not price, but cost) is about the same as PC133, these high prices are interesting. RDRAM may not be the best way for memory companies to make money in this memory market.

It will also be nice to see 133/266 Athlons hit the market - that should give AMD a fresh boost, too.

Regards,

Dan
