Cramer actually stated late last week that he has no short positions at all---in any stock. He was going long only.

He was basically stating his own investment opinion on a lot of stocks and that is about it. It is nothing more.
People are making too much of it.There are lots of others who think it should be bought.

As for that analyst that made the call on Friday, it could just be the same thing. Obviously it may be perceived by the market that there is a little more risk in buying JDSU than a lot of other stocks--in this investing climate.

On the other hand, anyone see JNPR take off. The same can happen to stocks like JDSU.
This is a long term holding for me---won't speculate much on short term moves unless we get the Friday type of trading action on it. I bought it to trade; while maintaining my long term position.

Bottom line---investing in high growth stocks like JDSU, JNPR, PMCS etc. always involves more risk. Expect lots of short term volatility. A lot also has to do with money inflows to tech mutual funds and of course the economy as perceived by the market.
