We won't get clobbered next week I can assure you that. It's a trader's market next week and for anyone who wants to go long like 3 months to 1 year, my advice is to stay out until mid January and assess from there. Usually there are few news between Christmas and New Year Eve. I except many more earnings warnings to come in after 1/1/2001 though. Q1'01 will be a tough one and I think Q2 will be even tougher since we have couple more rates to work through before getting better. Even the Fed cuts rates, it will be a bounce but won't stay there long. Sell into the rally is the play because there are more corrections (downward) before techs are done.
