Hmmm...After a couple of years on SI, you think I would learn to investigate thoroughly before I make multiple posts on a subject. The SL45 is definitely for sale in Germany. A poster over on the Motley Fool confirmed it. boards.fool.com The phone is on sale at D2 Mannesman for 799DM ($377) with a contract. shop.d2mannesmann.de FWIW....the reason I have been obsessing over the status of this phone is that I had set the introduction of this phone as my buy signal for Sandisk. I think the introduction of this phone will force other major handset manufacturers to begin introducing MP3 player equipped phones. The next 12 months are going to be pretty interesting... Slacker
