I found your research and deductive Logic on the female reindeer just as interesting. Now we know for sure the origin of that old saying......"In the Spring a young msn's fancy Lightly turns to what the girls have been thinking about all winter" LOL

Your comment about a joined at the hip girl friend also reminded me of a long ago remark from a lady out of your part of the world who described her home as being" Wall to wall teen agers".
