What a sore loser.

The election process has been determined by the Constitution and rule of law for over 200 years. As it was this time. You're simply whining because you don't like the results. Get over it. Or don't, and become a typical bitter liberal. The choice is yours.

If Gore had listened to people of decency instead of his swatt team of clinton trained lawyers, he might have pulled it out in a full state-wide hand recount, aligned with reasonable vote standards across the state. But the fault lies with him and his pathetic unethical strategic management team. Not with Republicans, the Supreme Court, or the American citizenry.

Clintonizing the process may have cost him the state of Florida. Fortunately for us, we will never know.

Leading Democrats such as your hero Dick (the socialist) Gephard should have counseled him properly. However, like most of the leading Democrats he didn't have a grip on fairness, decency or moral clarity to advise him correctly.

Listening to and following an amoral leader for 8 years (Clinton) has corrupted them all. Including Joe Lieberman, who demonstrated more than any other what a fraud he truly is.

I will not accept the count for Gore unless there are manual recounts throughout the country, and legal investigations of alleged fraud wherever there are charges. As far as I am concerned, the popular vote is meaningless not only because of the Electoral College, but because it is likely to be bogus........

If you count the so-called undervotes, you also need to discard the many overvotes. Gore would lose several thousands of felon votes, and duplicate ballots by students, nursing home patients, etc. I guess the 1960 election was clean by your standards.

Flappy: I know you gorons are having trouble accepting the FACTS about Gore's loss but calling that post an "excuse" is about as lame as any response you have yet posted. And you've had some beauts! Facts are using Gore's OWN logic we will never know who for sure won the popular vote. 2.5 to 3 million votes across the country have yet to be counted under Gore's standard. That may be difficult for a bunch of petulant sore losers to swallow but it is a FACT.

Moreover, the popular vote is irrelevant. READ the Constitution! The founding fathers established an indirect method for electing the President. I happen to think it was sheer genius. It forces those who wish to be President to deal with all the citizens concerns, not just those in population centers.

There has been no credible evidence of vote stealing or fraud in this election by the evil Republicans, just enforcement of the rules which existed before the vote as the law provides. Obviously given the actions of your party leaders (Gore and Clinton) Dems think the law should only apply when it favors you and is to be ignored when it doesn't.

Bush is the right man for this time and place in our history. He will work to implement his agenda and unite the country. After eight years of divisive Clintonization of the government, this will be a welcome change, even by Dems (of the non-sore/loserman variety). The polls show many Dems willing to put the election behind them and to accept GWB as President. Its up to Bush to produce the results that will reinforce those feelings and bring the country together.
