RE:"I am not a fan of either Bush or Gore, but it does seem to me Bush at least appears to be very naive about a lot of things. Hope I'm wrong."

The more I think about it, Gore really had to go some to lose the election...and he went the extra mile...and did it...

Frank - Re: 'To the effect that he needs to stop talking about recessions and economic turndowns. The commentator actually said that Bush is totally clueless about financial matters, and should keep his mouth shut until he knows a little more about them."

Huh ?

Every day old and new economy companies are reporting NEGATIVE news for their business - A T & T, Lucent, Georgia Pacific, Gilette, Coke, Merrill Lynch, Intel, Microsoft, AMD - EVERY BODY !!

Fact - WE ARE IN A MAJOR SLOW down that could VERY WELL be the slope downwards into a recession.

Why the hell can't Bush talk about this? It is REAL!

Whatever commentator made that dumb comment must be a COMPLETE IDIOT - and be unaware of what is going on in the economy. Maybe that idiot needs to get LAID OFF before he/she becomes as aware as George W Bush as to what is going on.
