"Intel to Introduce Product Changes: New D0 Core Stepping."

Just a couple of comments...from a non-technical perspective:
1. Sounds like INTC desparately needs to break the 1 gig barrier with its P3 if it is to remain competitive with AMD's Athy product evolution in Y2001.
2. Given the number of missteps with "tweaking" the P3 in the past year, it won't be too surprising if the March 5 date gets revised as we approach March 5, maybe even several times.
3. Paul will have no doubt have some comments on the proposed voltage increase from 1.7 to 1.75...
4. I wonder if Dell will, once again, buy into this some-time-in-the-future-if-ever promise!!!
