Been noticing a slew of new coverage on Rambus from the press.

Some articles, like the one in the current issue of Red Herring view Rambus in the rear view mirror, RMBS paired with the P III and the cause of most of INTC's whoas vs. the giant and upcoming AMD (essentially the leaning of this article). The Red Herring article is somewhat laughable as is states INTC is losing the speed war to AMD (ummm, AMD on November 13 conceded the speed war to INTC, stating they were "comfortable in the niches.").

But, those articles which have benchmarked the P IV with P IV optimized software are starting to come out and optimistically speak about RMBS. In particular the article from MSN stated quite eloquently the argument I and a lot of others have been making that as we go forward and as more and more software comes out, just like with the introduction of the X86 architecture (which also started out badly) that INTC will end up selling hoardes of new computers to work with the next generation of software.

Well, I think it inevitable, but maybe the Internet has changed everything. We shall see.
