Bill, the options will simply be adjusted. they'll get new symbols and will reflect the strikes as they then apply to the shares of the merged entity.

as for MM funds, i wouldn't put a red cent in one that's not exclusively in govt. securities. the utilities junk is just one example of many of the appalling quality of assets underlying much of the insured paper floating in many MM funds.

MBIA i'd have to look into, but from the little i know it appears they carry incredible risk. in an MCHVE they might get wiped out.
