The Economist had an interesting set of articles on
the U.S. market. One interesting fact was that the
Naz average PE remains over 100, whereas the five-year
average is around 60. If we assume a typical over-correction, that would imply 50% shaving of the Nax.
1250, anyone? The numbers might even be worse, should
we get this much-anticipated recession of ours.

As to Bush, I find that our president-elect completely
inspiring. On example: a 40-year old cousin of mine
recently got arrested for running crack across the border.
But he's not disheartened. He thinks it shows he is
presidential material, following in W's footsteps,
as it were. So you can expect to see him running on
the Republican ticket in 2008, instructing us all in
moral rectitude, law and order, and conservative family values (if his parole officer allows it). This is such
a great country.
