For several years the Repubs in Congress -- the moderates as well as the extremists like DeLay -- have been trash-talking, bad-mouthing, excoriating Clinton/Gore/Gephardt/Daschle. At every opportunity. Right-wing radio and TV people like Limbaugh and Hannity and Fox in general have also participated in this feeding frenzy to satisfy their egos and swell their pocketbooks and take advantage of right-wing fanaticism and Clinton hate. Now that their boy is in the White House, the Repubs are saying, "Let's forget about everything that we did the past six years. Let's work together to make this a better country bla bla bla." They should have been saying that in '92. Anyone who assumes that the next four years are going to be anything by "Hell on the Hill" is extremely naive. It's payback time.
