Best Buy and Circuit City are pretty lean, with just a few cards of
32 MB and 64 MB CF and SM. Hard to know how much has been sold.

Prophet,

Yes, it is very tough to know exactly how much has been sold
since you can't tell how often they restock shelves or whether
inventory is held at a central location and then divvied out once
or twice a week depending on sales volumes. In any case I am
impressed that the shelves aren't overflowing with product.

Also, I have no idea what kind of electronics business that Amazon
boasts or how much of SanDisk's supply was allocated to them.
I must say that Amazon is one of the most pleasant e-tail sites to
peruse with helpful product reviews and links to related products
and related purchases by others who have similar shopping habits.

Let's hope SanDisk sent a big chunk of volume there pre-holiday.

Best,

Aus
