Hi ftth,

The SmartSynch meter man left me untethered. How in the world is his aetherial metering going to make a wit of difference in a world of 1) price gouging futures markets, 2) the bullying of end consumers and C&I as the ultimate suckers and 3) smoke and mirrors corporations like Sempra that intend to bankrupt their transmission arm (SCE) and let it wither whilst engaging in wild speculation on their transmission side? I don't get it. Sorry to be such a simpleton.

In short, how is J. Tom Somers intending to deal with greed run amok? With a wireless meter? I'm totally impressed by the irrelevance of this man.

so are Christmas lights banned in California? Just wondering.
Mebbe next year..... <g> It's not a ban but a voluntary curtailment of frivolous lighting this year. OTOH, in Las Vegas, of course, there is no reason to turn off a single HID fixture, neon tube, or 2 million footcandle searchlight aimed pointlessly (and to astronomers irritatingly) at the heavens. A result of better long term power contracts. [[Mas "Business" Cojones, por favor.]] Hehe.

Umm, here's a link to a self promoter??

May the pomegranates of plutocratic probity percolate into your pastures of plenty, Ramon :)
