Merry Christmas!

click.or.jp

As far as I know the Christmas trees that you buy around here are farmed. It is not like logging. In the forests the trees grow 100 feet or more. In the past, it was possible for a very limited number of people to get permits to go into the forest, at designated spots, to look for a live tree.

B4 we bought our living tree, we would drive into the country side or take a ferry over to one of the islands and cut a tree from a tree farm. These farms are small and help supplement the owner's income. As trees are cut, the owners would plant others so there are always trees growing.

Just got back from a two-mile walk around the neighborhood. It's so nice outside that I may prune a few of my roses.

I hope you and your family have a nice day.

I have a rack of lamb to put on the grill!

Happy Holidays!
