I don't recall that game. But I do recall a Superbowl involving the Bills in which Beebe (I think) was about to run in for a touchdown on the last play of the game when suddenly he stepped out at the seven yard line with no opponent in front of him and no time left on the clock.
Hundreds of millions of bettors literally freaked out as that score would have allowed the Bills to cover the spread.

Cheers,

Vince

This weeks picks...

Dallas +13 1/2 (I'd really like that extra 1/2 pt.to make it 14)
McNair's ankle swelled up during practice Friday, forcing him to miss the second half of the workout, according to ESPN reports. With his health in question and the Titans expected to run the heck out of the ball against the Cowboys, McNair is not an option this week.

Colts - 6 1/2
In the Vikings' past two games, St. Louis' Kurt Warner and Green Bay's Brett Favre combined to complete 53-of-70 passes for 621 yards with three TDs and zero INTs.
Plus Culpepper is Questionable...they might keep him out, to ensure that he's healthy for the playoffs

I need to go 2-0, to be at 75% to tie Micheal McD. I'd assume I'd get the Nod as champ if that happens.

Taking him out of the mix, One win & I'm champ by % points.

If I go 0-2, then Jakestraw & Tom C have a chance...

I'm to tired to figure it out further than that.

I took the COWBOYS, x-mas night, as I figured I talked trash all year about them...If i'm going down, i'm going down BLEEDING SILVER & BLUE :)
Happy Hoildays & good LUCK!!!
Dave

I remember that game well............Rams were up going into the 4th..........

Steelers had a late rally and the difference (in the spread) was a missed Frank Corral extra point. (I think it was his first miss all year long)

31-19 final.............I believe Pittsburgh was an 11 1/2 point favorite going in
