Whassup? Not really anything. End of an era I suppose. Had livestock (in a very serious way) for about 21 years and it just felt like a good time to move on to other things that require a lot less maintenance. Besides, I have long been wanting to do some wilderness paddling into the more remote parks of Ontario and Quebec (Temagami, Quetico, Temiscamingue) and that kind of tripping would usually require that I be gone for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. Will be nice to be able to throw the canoe on the truck and be free to "go" whenever my mood and the weather are telling me that it's time to be on my way....
