Merry Christmas Lee, Haim. RE: da winner....

I am not much of a politicrat and coming into the election I thought that we ought to keep the Democrats because of the prosperity and good market etc., well now I have come to believe that energy is at the center of the prosperity universe and the Clinton/Gore administration has just simply ignored any kind of a coherent energy policy.

If the price of oil goes back to $9 a barrel the good times will return, if not, weeeeeel then we have to figure out some kind of alternate. duh!

So in short, Bush has inherited a mess and can not come out smelling anything like a rose, because of the latency in the economy he will be blamed for not having a surplus but a lot of other dead Clinton ducks will fall at his door step.

The other day one of the talking heads said that if the market keeps going in the same direction Bush will petition the Supremes to review the case! I suspect when he and the American public find out what all Slick Willie didn't do while he was playing hide the cigar we will be less inclined to vote for Clinton. Gore could be of a different cut and I don't mean to paint him with the same brush because if I do that then I would have to paint Bush with the Jim Baker brush and I don't think that would be a pretty picture either.

On subject: I see that OJ is long and I hope that is a good omen for the market, I too am long but waaaay too early.

I wish you folks a very happy holiday and a very prosperous new year, Happy trading.
