Gemini, I have no personal advantage from affirmative action. In fact, my three sons who graduated from college probably suffered a disadvantage from affirmative action. My oldest son was forced to go clear across the State to Washington State University because he could not get admitted to the Univ of Washington Pharmacy School in Seattle because of affirmative action policies. I am not angry about that because all of my sons got good educations.
I am not a member of the American Trial Lawyers Assn but I am a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers. I do not personally benefit in any way from affirmative action laws.
