Chipper: At these prices, I consider LSI to be a tremendous 12 to 24 month vehicle going forward, even though as of now, I don't own a single share having switched into NSM.

The key to LSI really driving its price will be some MAJOR CDMA wins, and dominance in the FPGA/ASIC market. Six months ago, I thought that LSI under the leadership of John Daane would win the embedded FPGA battle hands down over the likes of the FPGA crowed like ALTR and XLNX. Obviously, Mr. Daane has different ideas.

Nevertheless, LSI will be the sort of stock that will arise quickest from the current (or more precisely soon to be current recession), since it is always the semi companies that begin to supply an economy on the rebound.
