I chose SiliconInvestor as a website to configure and used some names of posters I have bookmarked as links to prefetch.

It seems to me that if you entered a poster's name into your list of prefetch keywords, all that would happen is that when you came upon a webpage that had this poster's name on it, in hypertext, Naviscope would download whatever was linked to it. Most probably the poster's profile.

Here is how I use the program: I first go to the SubjectMarks page, my favorite threads. I click on the hypertext "number of unread messages" after one of the subjects and go to the first unread message of that subject. On that page, there is the word "next" in hypertext. Since 'next' is in the default list of keywords, Naviscope will download the second page while I am reading and hold it in the cache until I click on "next". It pops up almost immediately. Then, while I am reading the second message, Naviscope starts downloading the third.

If you are putting posters' names in as keywords, you may be using SI in a way I haven't thought of. The keyword in the list must appear on the webpage as hypertext. You can right-click|properties on the hyperlink and you can see what you'll be getting. Does this make sense?
