Ron, Yup-just got all of the presents down from the attic and placed them under the tree myself....Christmas, bring it on! CHK, Chesapeake Energy..Just wanted to note that they brought in a pretty good well in the Georgetown Formation, Deep Giddings Field in central Texas. It's producing at about 40mmcf/day. In fact CHK paid out its US $2.8mm drilling costs...in 13 days. It's flowing 5000 psi on a 26/64 choke. Anadarko also brought in a well in this formation called the Becker I. CHK inteds to accelerate its drilling program in the are, needless to say. These wells are like Austin Chalk oil wells and produce 1/2 of their reserves in about ten months and then tail off to a steady 1 mmcf/say production....Keep an eye on CHK...
