Jon,

Sorry, I should have said we know carriers plan to deploy WCDMA in US, Japan, and Korea. The question of if the technology will work was answered to my satisfaction when QCOM announced a WCDMA ASIC. I think the best chance for WCDMA not being widely adopted is a quick rollout of 1XEV. If 1XEV provides 3G functionality, is far more efficient, bits per Hz, and can sit on top of a GSM Map network, operators might be forced to abandon WCDMA for 1XEV. Right now there seems to be a tremendous amount of momentum for WCDMA.
