[My investment strategies for 2001]

performance number for yr 2000.

s/t portfolio: +18% YTD
l/t portfolio: -8% YTD

1) using tax loss to offset gains from mutual fund sells in march/april 2000(bought in early 1980s)

2) probable switch from mutual funds to Index shares (QQQ/DIA/SPY/holders/sector index stocks) (not select funds)

3) more trading for next year since the market will probably be flat

4) long term portfolio will always be CORE SOLID companies. never had an internet position, never will. (short term is fine)

5) Stop OUT better and quicker. My MAIN problem.

disclaimer: results are of my personal portfolio. not indicative of future performance.
