Mark: I agree with your assessment of the big caps -- the S&P is only in the early stages of its downturn. Next year could well be worse than this year for stocks -- hard to believe, but very possibly true. I feel real sorry for people who still have illusions that this was a "correction" and that it will soon be over. There is probably some poor fool out there with a ton of Yahoo and similar stocks thinking that they will regain their lost fortune as the "correction" ends any minute now -- Merry Christmas and to all a good night.
