What Europeans Think of America

As far as my "vision" for a societal and political order goes, I'd say that I sincerely believe in the anarchist Utopia, that is, the flattening of hierarchical structures in the economic and political spheres and a wholesale equalizing of available resources. However, I nonetheless praise the American fabric for its openness and its multicultural diversity. Well.... that's quite a platitude, isn't it?? I guess, like most other dreamers, I also long for an "Earthly Paradise" that is all too easy to feature theoretically but whose practical "enforcement" has been rather troublesome, so far.... That's why I find it easier to focus on world/political issues as they come forth and, accordingly, try to anticipate their likely developments.
