Jim,

re. does anyone have any insights on the current negativity around NT?

Wall Street is usually very rough on the old-unfaithful. All you need to do is to have misinformed them once. Naturally it'd be a different story if the analysts lied.

Hi Jim - you sez "BTW, does anyone have any insights on the current negativity around NT? Is it just a whispering campaign?"

"Whispering" <G>? The trashing is done on all frequencies <VBG>! To do justice, NT cannot be the island of oasis if everyone else is taking a beating. Still, I think the recent string of events is no more than another (in)famous CYA operation. I am hopeful that we had a capitulation on last Thursday, but we'll just have to see how JDSU will behave. If JDSU takes a hit, I think LU will be the collateral casualty b/c of the impeding spinoff of Aggere [sp?] and not NT.

best, Bosco
