Tech has the measles, not anything terminal.

What was it Churchill said to Alice Longworth Roosevelt after she'd told him he was drunk? Something to the effect that he may be drunk but she was ugly and when he woke up he'd be sober.

the cash will slosh from old economy back to new.

There is logic in what you say. The badder numbers in the next couple of quarters should come from old eco while tech numbers should meet or beat lowered expectations while tech will be perceived to be the leader in the next wave of the economy.
