Pat is bullish on JDSU. Is that some kind of crime? What the heck is this if not a debate? We all benefit by constructive arguments.

What's your problem? You want to be seen as champion of all the people who've lost money on JDSU? One more try and you've made my ignore list.

PS I'm sure Pat is thrilled that you feel her posts are well-articulated.

You need to preface your remarks with "hey, don't take anything I say seriously" just in case someone with room-temperature IQ couldn't figure that out, though it's likely that even those people aren't in danger of not seeing through you.

Guess what: we're all big boys and girls, and we all make our own buy and sell decisions. You most certainly ARE accusing Pat--arguably the sanest, most articulate, and most humane voice on SI--of pump and dump. Do you see it as your duty to protect the "little" guy from the "likes" of Pat Mudge? Why so many posts if you have no position? Why do you care at all?

Be aware that even if it is not your intent, your bullish posts on 'JDSU the company' are read as bullish on 'JDSU the stock'.

Most know I don't hold JDSU. I'm long SDLI and very long the fiber optics sector. Most also know I don't have a clue about timing a buy or sell. Anyone who writes to me about timing usually gets a cautious response about high-risk investing and considering his or her level of tolerance.

If you've followed the thread for anything beyond a couple weeks, you also know I've said quite often I anticipate huge gains for the winners but also huge volatility based on the fall-out in the carrier sector.

I recommend you take some time to read my posts thoroughly before either judging how I manage my portfolio or what my position is on any one stock or sector.
