I had hoped for a stronger open. I sold about 20 min after the open--am in cash. I don't see the risk/reward ratio being in my favor today. I'll wait for a retest of last week's lows.

Nasdaq has been steadily weakening. TRIN and UP/DOWN vol starting to look bad. This could develop into a day of profit taking. Be careful. GH

Jri,

>>>> any comments on the open, anyone? <<<<

Actually, Im somewhat pleased with todays performance. In the past we have had the 1-2 day rallys which failed, but now the market seems to more nervous which is bullish from a contrarian position.

Also, its setting up a 3-DAY PATTERN, so if today is flat, tomorrow could be up strong. However, the 3-DAY PATTERN has a higher probability of working if the pattern is in the same direction of the trend. Just hoping the NAZ can stay relatively flat(+/- 50 points), not up strong or down strong
