I heard a plug for the Woodward fiction on Greenspan from Motley Fools! And they were having him on their stupid show! Experts bringing on experts to untangle the intricacies of financial world! LOL!

The question is if a deflationary spiral is to start, Why are gold stocks acting so well? Seems to me that everyone is looking for deflation, but what if Companies will be forced to raise their pay even more do to Option problems? what if Oil maintains 25-30 a barrel, and Electric util;ities get price increases? Seems to me that the Inflation monster is just hidding waiting to show its face and forstall fed action. The inflation pick up in Europe has been more pronounced then here, mostly cause of a strong dollar. That is changing.

Followup on previous NDX post...

Early days yet, but this is interesting. The open was over/at the DT line from Dec 13. After clearly getting over it NDX has not fallen back under it -- a failure. I would look for the bottom of the wedge to be tested sooner than I thought, like, before lunch.

Just for fun, I think we get a short bounce from there and then the wedge fails today, instead of tomorrow as I had originally thought.
