Oh my goodness, from those stats, we all must conclude that Gore is personally responsible for the higher murder rates in the counties he won, right?

By the way, please take the time to read the header and consider yourself warned.

Who do YOU want deciding the next President of the U.S.?

The people of the United States, in a fair election.

Sq miles of country won by Gore: 580,000
Sq miles of country won by Bush: 2,427,000

And the most interesting statistic on the list:
Avg Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Gore: 13.2
Avg Murder per 100,000 residents in counties won by Bush: 2.1

Who do YOU want deciding the next President of the U.S.?

So your question comes down to whether we want a bunch of underinformed people living in largely underinhabited areas (and are traditionally Repubs) who are completely out of touch with the problems of those from the major cities, vs. those who live and work in large cities (where murder rates are always higher if only based on the increased population density) that make up the bulk of our economic and cultural resources.

I would prefer the latter. And by the way, yours are among the most misleading and stupid uses of statistics that I've seen in a while.
