Schwab may have done you a favor by killing the short trade of BLUE. If you have read the lockup criteria you will find that their has been no restricted shares filed to sell yet. Part of the criteria is that the stock must trade for 20 days at double the orginal offer price of 17. Thomas Weasel was one of the underwriters of the IPO. As you know they are the ones that began pounding the table today touting the stock.

The reason I post this is that I got caught in just such a situation with BIOI. (another TWP tout) when it went from 8 to 12..I shorted at just over 12 and paid dearly as the stock went to 32 over the next 45 days. (it also had a 20 trading day/price requriement) TWP made sure that the stock hit their target as they are a MM in the stock as well as BLUE. BTW, BIOI had short share restrictions on it too.

Anyway, my entire point is that BLUE is a better bet going long than short. I'm neither at this point, but will be long if it pulls back toward 8 this week.

Ken (yes, I spelled Weasel incorrectly on purpose, I hate those people)
