GST, in some ways, investing in the optic fibre business (and especially the stocks) is similar to investing in dot com or biotech. In the sense that it is beyond the ability of most people (including myself) to have an independent opinion about a technology or the stocks associated with it. And I think most people will have to rely on something other than their own resources to make decisions. Unless you go to a pure TA approach. In which case reading tea leaves would be just as effective.

So are analysts opinions a contrary indicator ? I can answer that about trucks or oil, but about optical ??? I have no idea.

Good luck. At least in my case, any results for this type of investments would be determined purely by luck.
