EMachines Is Warned by Nasdaq Of Possible Delisting From Market
Dow Jones Newswires

WASHINGTON -- EMachines Inc. received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market on Wednesday warning the company that it may be delisted on March 20, according to a Form 8-K filed late Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the filing, the Nasdaq letter says eMachines' stock may be delisted if the minimum bid price doesn't equal or exceed $1 a share for a minimum of 10 consecutive trading days before March 20.

Emachines, Irvine, Calif., may try to seek a review of the decision to delist the stock should it not meet the minimum requirement before March 20. The company may also apply for listing on another organized market.

EMachines makes low-cost personal computers. Shares of eMachines closed Friday at 28 cents. Earlier in the week, the company warned investors that its results will be lower than expected.
