why don't you just call their IR dept and see if they have a year-end shut-down or not? Most companies do this in order to reduce cost this year.

given the near term slowdown in LU and NT optical business do you know whether JDSU' s factories are still churning out product 7 days, 24 hours per day? JDSU and SLDI were until recently production constrained; is this still the case?

I've heard stories of customers still not getting nearly the amounts they want/need. Keep in mind I follow SDLI and most of my comments refer to them and not JDSU.

Is NT's optical business really slowing? Or are we back to that inventory problem from the conference call after last quarter's earnings?

Who told you NT is slowing down. On at least 4 different occasions this quarter, Roth said they are in line with their estimates.
