I could not agree more. In fact, I see it as fraudulent. Of course, the analysts are even worse <ggg>

OK, since no one else is mentioning it....look at the Dow Utilities....bullish break above (over the last couple of days) its three month long ascending triangle.

Just thought I would point that out...

LG

fwiw--COMP should be up about 100 tomorrow to complete 5waves up from the 2288 low--then it should drop back into mid 24's to regroup and then zip up again beyond tomorrow's peak---the question is-will the second move up be say at least 1.4x the length of the first move up or will it exceed tomorrow's peak only by a bit?

Looks like Arch Crawford's forecast that today would be one of the best days in stock market history is not coming to pass to put it mildly.

How anybody can take people like this seriously is beyond me. Sure he has made a few great calls, but oh so many bad ones.

Some people call this non-recognition of non-events. Every time it looks like we might be going up big the Guru screams for a 1000 point rally. The one time out of 10 that it happens the Guru keeps screaming only louder. The publics attention span being what it is a lot of people will never remember that the last 9 times over the previous 2 years the Guru called for the same thing and was wrong. They just remember the latest call complete with drum roll and rocketship. One of the things I like about this thread is that there are a lot of experienced traders that make their living with their own money and can be frank about what they say, rather than worry how it will sound to their subscribers. I have learned more from this thread and a few others on SI than I have from any Newsletter. Thanks for the tip on the Nikkei!
