flapjack, please site me a reference that would show your statement of "Republicans chanting their mantra of " ... in my day we did it this way...." " is not just more of liberal spin lies of make believe made up quote rhetoric. The Republican mantra is let people take responsibility for themselves and give those trapped in poor schools, vouchers that enables them to find a decent place to get their children educated. This is not the way it has been done, it is the way to give millions the opportunity to get out of poverty.
