brian h: Thanks. Since Ramsey requires some substance at least, here goes as a try. As a means of trying to keep up, how about a division of real world action and standards body progress as one cut? Then current spectrum and "new" spectrum as the other? Neither gives a clean or exclusive picture but if we could at least try to give a clue at the beginning of posts in which of these arenas (if any) our focus is, would that help? Still trying to fight through both the alphabet soup and the "standards" morass and something along these lines might help us not talk quite as much past each other as seems to happen sometimes - perhaps avoiding the two ships passing in the night before radar situation.
