Seems that the taste of oatmeal is significantly different when it has 1/4 cup of salt in it, rather than 1/4 teaspoon.

I'm not sure but that may qualify for the understatement of the year 2000. Wow! That might have been enough to even send a youngster's blood pressure off the scale:)
