Well I don't know..Not all, I'm sure.. but President-elect Bush left his daughter to go fishing.. I would have stayed, just because of my love for family. It wasn't a National emergency or anything.. And Charley, he is the guy as campaigning for President from one of our major parties, PREACHES, ""Compassionate Conservatism"..

I always heard from types like that "Charity begins at HOME"" or is that like "States Rights" and then being the first one to take it to to the FEDS..

What is that old saying.. "Don't do as I say.........??

You don't really think conservatives are without compassion, do you?

They tend to be very good to their companion animals. Often treating them better than the maid and kitchen staff.

So, while not totally without compassion, I will say that, like the writer from the Revolutionary Worker group, I was impressed by VP-select Cheney's heart attack, because it was the only sign we've had that he has one.
